Damp conditions were expected to linger along significant areas of Queensland's east this next several days as a weather pattern continued to attract humidity against the coast.
Tomorrow was forecast to be the most rainy day, with persistent severe weather risk predicted across various areas of both states.

Public health experts warned that there was an greater possibility of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the northern rural areas, specifically given the current weather patterns.
