Iran is prepared to resume atomic talks with the United States as long as it is treated with "dignity" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has announced.

Abbas Araghchi stated solely negotiations worked, and revealed new appeals had come from intermediaries to resume discussions with the Trump administration. He claimed Iran possessed no secret atomic facilities, and Tehran was not yet able to permit the global atomic watchdog to access bombed nuclear sites for protective measures.

Navigating a Challenging Course

The foreign minister is treading a complex path since Iran aims to avoid be perceived to be operating from a stance of disadvantage, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had arisen stronger militarily and emotionally from the coordinated strike on its enrichment centers in June.

He was addressing at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "a fundamental entitlement to refine atomic fuel domestically that it will perpetually retain" – the key factor of the stalemate in the prior discussions.

Prior Negotiations Suddenly Terminated

The previous five rounds of negotiations between the United States and Iran were concluded unexpectedly and hostile end on 12 June when Israel, with Washington's assistance, targeted Iranian nuclear sites in a two-week conflict that concluded with the American leader claiming the locations had been eliminated. Afterward, Western states used their authority to restore global restrictions, but Iran maintains they have not had a substantial consequence.

Perfect Agreement Suggested

Tehran representatives said they felt they had attained a "ideal resolution" to the enrichment issue in previous talks, when it was decided an Iran-based consortium with Washington's engagement could refine atomic fuel. Each party would have been able to claim victory since local refinement would have persisted and the US could be confident that Iran's enrichment initiative was solely for peaceful purposes.

It had not been settled in the negotiations that Washington's technical specialists could function on Iranian soil, but that was a natural consequence of the consortium proposal. Officials stated repeatedly they had secured an understanding with Washington's diplomat Steve Witkoff only for the agreement to collapse due to "spoilers in Washington".

Existing Status

Iran's diplomats said the consortium offer was now off the table, but it seems highly likely the offer could be revived in some form if talks resume.

The US president recently claimed he had been obtaining communications that Iran desired to reopen negotiations, but privately Tehran representatives claim they are not yet receiving clear proposals from America either directly or from significant local go-betweens, such as Qatar, the Egyptian leadership, Oman and the Saudi kingdom. The Iran's state department has been criticized of non-responsiveness in the wake of Washington's unmediated tactics, but Tehran states dialogue is not part of a spectacle.

Diplomatic Position

In his address to the conference, intended to paint the US as a controlling nation that abuses the idea of global regulations, Araghchi said the 12-day war demonstrated the conflict could not be resolved by combat operations. He stated the assaults commenced with a Washington's ultimatum for an total Iran submission and ended with an absolute demand for a ceasefire.

Iran is convinced the first strikes by Israel were executed with total Washington understanding and collaboration, making faith difficult to reestablish.

Diplomacy Continues the Primary Solution

Araghchi stated: "Tehran was not the one that had fled dialogue; it was America and the European states that had consistently attempted to enforce their will during the negotiations. Negotiations can still be active and continues the ultimate answer to resolve disagreements, but its requirements, guidelines and principles must be respected."

"In case they speak to the nation of Iran with the language of respect and honor, they will obtain a reply in the identical approach."

Recovery and Rebuilding

In what is portrayed by Iran's diplomats as the conflict of restoration and rebuilding, Araghchi said he was certain Iran's defence capabilities "are considerably enhanced than before 13 or 14 June of this year. Every aspect of our defense have been restored. We learned numerous insights from this engagement; we have come to know our internal vulnerabilities and the shortcomings of the adversary."

He continued: "We successfully passed this war. Our nuclear technology, which they planned to destroy, continues to exist. The installations and machinery, if damaged, will be restored; what is crucial is the resolve of the citizens of Tehran and then the social solidarity that they sought to undermine, but did not succeed to break. The citizens of Tehran have become stronger, more integrated, and more endorsing of the administration and the nation in the wake of this assault."
